English-subbed video profiles team members, upcoming game projects
Namco Bandai Games began streaming a five-minute English-subtitled studio tour of From Software, the developer best known for the Armored Core game franchise, on Monday. The video profiles the different members of the studio and highlights the studio’s two upcoming projects, the Armored Core V mecha action game and the Dark Souls action role-playing game.
Armored Core V will ship for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles in Japan next January (after a delay from the previous October 20 release date). From Software will release Dark Souls in Japan on September 22 (delayed twice from its original date). Namco Bandai Games will release the game in North America on October 4 and in Europe on October 7 on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles.
